So heres the update on this crazy journey that God has placed us on. The results came back and we are definitely dealing with cancer. We start treatment which will include both radiation and chemotherapy in a few weeks. We are imploring people for prayers. Two things that you can specifically pray are #1 100% Complete healing for Rob #2 God would calm our hearts and remove any fear. There is so much I could say that at times I feel like I need to start writing a book. Yesterday at church I had an amazing talk with a wise woman who has seen much tragedy in her life. She lost a 5 yr. old daughter, fought both colon and thyroid cancer and took care of her husband for 10yrs who eventually died from demensia. She is basically a walking vessel of Gods wisdom. So I will share with you HER words to me..... Angie, God is the giver and taker of life. Cancer does not take life, God takes life. So who by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Doctors have a lot of information, surveys, research and data but at the end of the day that is all it is. God has got Rob. Rob is Gods child. He is more than your husband or a dad he is Gods child. He belongs to God. He does not belong to a medical community or a doctor. He belongs and is held by God. God knows the number of our days and He alone knows them. I cant tell you the peace I felt from hearing these words. So this is where we are at and believe me we have good moments and then we have some not so good moments. I dont know what the future holds but the truth is that really none of us do. Please continue to hold us in prayer whenever we come to your mind. If you had told me that 3 weeks ago I would have the strength to walk this road I would have told you that you are NUTS!!!!! Yet, somehow I am walking it. WE believe that this is only by your prayers....minute by minute and hour by hour. Please do not stop praying. We love you all and could not ask for anymore then what God has given us in you!
