So, how are we surviving? So glad you asked...just a little timeline for today.... 3:30 a.m. Lance gets up...hacking his head off...Me: Are you sure you shouldnt stay home today? Lance: (Thought process, I am sure--I can see the bubble over his head..stay home with eight kids...or go to work?)...answer: No, (cough cough) WE all have it at work...so they wont mind me being there 4:15: Dog fed, cats fed, Lances lunch and breakfast done, hes out the door...still quiet...I think I will lay back down... 5:00: Mandi: Mom, where is the dog, Jack has to go to the bathroom 5:10: Make Mandi and I a cup of coffee...(I know no caffeine but these are desperate times...Jack and Mandi play on the computer as I count the number of kids coughing....so far, Devin, Maya, Jack and Henry.... 6:15: Henry wakes up...I notice this horrible smell coming from the babys room... 6:30: Chubbs wakes up and Mandi snatches him up from his bed...we both know the smell was not Jack or Henry....what we did not know is that if you put Chubs to bed with no jam bottoms or pants on, he takes his diaper off during the night... 6:31: All Chubbs bedding and clothing are in the washer...room is deoderized and wiped down with bleach wipes...baby is sanitized...eating a banana and an apple... 7:00: A tired, cold, sore Nat makes her way to the bathroom 8:00: A very sick Maya wakes up...I have just finished cleaning the kitchen from last night and am now starting a breakfast of 3Lbs of bacon and 8 large pancakes... One liners of the morning: Chubbs: (As I am spraying the pan in the kitchen to bake the bacon on) Is that Pam? Devin: Is Chubbs supposed to have those pills Natalie: after transfering from her chair to the recliner... whispering: Maya, I think I broke my foot (no, it wasnt...did twist it slightly..) Maya: Corbin Blu is engaged Mandi: Did someone go outside...as Evie is standing in the rain peeking in the window at us... 10:00: I dump out our two half cups of coffee... !0:30: All kids fed, dishes done and kitchen clean again... 11:15...is it time for lunch yet?....
