So how many of you remember when 997 was taken over by Michael Martin. Remember it was all targeted towards the gay community. When Michael Martin Took over I knew what he was gonna do. Michael Martin Built both Wild 949 and KMEL. Clear channel let go of Michael Martin, I knew there was gonna be hell fire and brim stone about to happen. So what did Michael Martin start to do is take all the staff from Wild and bring them over to Moving 997. My good Friend St. John was the first to jump ship , then Jazzy Jim, Then soon to follow other former staff members would follow. A year ago my boy Rick Lee was getting less and less hours on the air. From the little birds i know in the radio business i was told MM would launch a rival station to KMEL. but that has always been in the back of peoples minds..SO this is what IM gonna spill. Remember when Power use to be in the bay and Michael Martin put a block on it and it Failed.. Well HEAR me out now Bay Area. I promise you the Biggest free Agent Chuy Gomez might become the launching personality for the new Station. I know how corporate people are when they are motivated they are Motivated. Maybe Live 105 will be reformatted, or another CBS Station But I know Chuy will Launch the New Station... This is my general observation... Wild tried to do it with Just JV but they Failed, numbers suck, so As much as we love some of kmel the dying process will begin... watch!!!
