So i fell asleep during the 7pm news and woke up at midnight to be vrek honger n indulged in a peanut butter and jam sandwhich lol. So Me Sylvia Lucas 20 handclaps for you my dear. On top of looking pretty and well dressed you were well prepared for your interview. NC you are working hard. Only thing that urks me though is when premiers, ministers and MEC`s say that there is a lack of skills. REALLY? Also why are these skills never broken down into what is actually needed, you will just hear there is a lack of.... Mr Vice Chair ye ANC really now John Block is a big boy la buti uyakwazi ukuzitetela. You could have just said that it is an internal matter instead of going of to Pitsonderwater and Riemvasmaak maar jy wil net Homevale toe gaan. The most interesting thing though is the comment of the Khoisan President on the recognition of this group. I was caught between wanting to laugh and realizing that this is serious. The reality is not every colored person wants to be called Khoisan, not every indigenous language in SA is part of the 11 official languages. There are more important issues to focus on at this moment than the issues of what colored people are referred to in black and white. I am NOT BLACK I am i Hlubikazi, someone else is Sotho so do we have all those in our official documents. Do I think there is a lot that needs to be done for the Khoi? Hell yeah!!!!! Growing up in Upington I cannot help but feel patriotic towards them. However I think leaders must be careful on what they prioritize as a bone of contention. It is a fact that land and accessibility and Kingdom recognition are still a huge issues. My question then is should those not be the primary focus for you madam President of the Khoi? Please note this is not a debate about what colored people should or should not be referred to I am Not colored so that is not really my call, but this is about what should be a priority as per beneficiaries (and I ain`t taking about those ones who woke up one day and they decided that they are Khoi princes and princesses). I am talking about those that were singing Qai re Qai sa and Die Ncamsasa(pardon the spelling I got to learn to speak not write) doing die namastap in Lutzputz etc.
