So i look at Philly and see a team with a strong collection of talented young forwards, not so impressive defense, and Mason hasnt been bad for them in goal, but is he the guy they need in goal? I see a team with a group of very talented forwards, but as a serious contender I dont see a quality team at all. I think Holmgren doesnt know what a TEAM looks like. The flyers are going to crash the net, there gonna bang bodies, and there gonna skate hard. There also gonna leave alot of passing lanes open from over pursuit, and trying to throw a body check. Giroux has been criticized alot this season including by me. What he has done is gotten better in the faceoff circle, he seems to me to be trying hard to be the more dependable player. Berube has gotten lucky this season with a division that was horrifically inconsistent. Holmgren has to move some of these forwards in an attempt to help the defense and as well make a complete team that can win the cup.
