So, i was pre booking a cab for tomorrow to the airport and figured it would be worth the $6 fee since the last week i ended calling all 3 companies for more than an hour to get to work in the morning and none were available. The operator informed me it would be $8 and a 25% surcharge. Still i told myself the increase was reasonable since the hike and that the 25% was usual of morning peak rates. Then the idiocity of this whole booking was justified when i recieved a txt from Citycab a minute later as below. Booking is still in progress. We will continue to try and update you the booking status 1 hour before your pickup time. I felt like slapping someone! Im paying $8 for an unconfirmed booking that would probably only be confirmed IF i even have a booking an hr before my designated time of pick up!! Whadda frog is this!? Utter rubbish i tell you zzzz....
