So im standing at the Metropolitan station waiting on the train. Today may be the one day that i wish i had a 12 min wait for the next L train to Manhattan. There was a guy... I walk onto the platform and this busker, dawned in all black and strumming too softly for me to stand 15 ft away, caught my attention. I walked over to his post and leaned against the column. I made sure to listen intently, as soon as the noisy train left the station i could hear his soft, but beautiful song. I engaged him, listened so intently with such eye contact that he had to engage me in return. He smiled awkwardly and kept singing. Eventually, he just sang to me. Three minutes later the train I was meant to take pulled into the station, he ended the song, winked at me and thanked me, i thanked him in return and boarded the train. Poop...missed connection? #NYC
