So in the next couple of months, Ill be alternating monthly series between Somerville and Red Bank. There is no storage space at that location for tvs. I have to drag my tvs 50 miles and make multiple trips every time I host there lol. The vegas melee scene has a venue full of the ben-q monitors and modded wiis, sort of like a LAN center, making it setting up for events literally nothing. Theyve been using the setup for over a year or something and have had no problems with delay (video linked here). My question to you guys is, how would you feel about playing on the lagless wii / Ben-Q setup for Somerville. Rather I should re-phrase, the first event will be a test run and I encourage you guys to come and play. Ill do $5 singles in case people dont like them, and if it ends up being no and well find a storage solution for crt tvs. But I do not like to rely on people bringing setups, because that is not guaranteed incase that person or people do not attend. But I dont think there is any harm in trying this at least once or twice.
