So, in the past year, a few assumptions on how I live my life have been made by folks who obviously dont know what they are talking about: 1. That Im forever coming up with crazy, stupid ideas that Ill never follow through on..Well, yes, I have had a couple of business ideas, one being a brewery. After weighing the ROI compared to the investment, and the fact the the building I wanted was trashed, it didnt work out. I am actually pursuing an ice cream shop, it may or may not work out..Thats just business, folks. 2. That I moved my family to the sticks because I dont have friends or family that I care about in South Bend..The truth of that matter is that when I got out of the Navy, moving to Indiana was part of the give and take that goes into being married...I moved to North Liberty because I didnt want my kids going to the trash schools in South Bend and cant afford private school...Dont like it? Then dont come down here..IDC I have no intention of changing much in the way I live my life in the coming year..Im not quitting my apprenticeship, no matter how much shit I have to swallow on occasion, but I am also going to work towards securing my and my families future..Heres to another year wiser.
