So.. is today not a good day to talk about the U.S. foriegn policy being facist and invasive and how trying to meddle in the affairs of the world with obnoxious displays of power in third world countries have made us a the perferred target for anyone that feels like a parasitic consumer culture is chokeing out thier way of life? Or maybe how our constant occupation of impoverished nations to prop up thier sympathetic govenments to maintain whatever trade relations nessicary to fatten our wallets have made us an unwanted presence in the world theater? Or am i supposed to sing God Bless America, pretend that our shared tragety was not just a misguided attempt to remove a foegien power get back at western powers for destabilizing a region for 200 years. And treat it like some mastermind attack on our culture amd values and that the only solution is to continue to add unnessicary tension in an already disjointed regoin. Causing a backlash of religious fundamentalism that has thrown what was once a hub for scientific and cultural discovery into the dark ages? Or maybe i should just never forget... #godblessamerica
