So it sounds like most everyone attending the events to drift are down for a little judged solo run fun. With that here are some thoughts to be tossed around. Judged criteria - Line - Angle - Style I think these 3 mainly due to the speed difference from car to car and no real way to measure speed. I suppose the style judge can use speed if its a huge deciding factor I like the idea of a knockout style format. For example we will make a bracket by pulling from a hat and then do a top 16 to final 2 etc. This way it will still be solo but only 2 drivers going agains each other each time. I think this could be more fun than everyone going and getting a score. Thoughts? I am currently looking into a 1st 2nd and 3rd place trophy depending on how many people compete of course. Also trying to get a prize bag together for the winner. Again this isnt a super serious deal. Just a fun way to change it up and keep things spicy.
