So its August and that means its time to head north to the great state of Maine, aka Vacationland. I promised myself after running two businesses and raising three children (etc. etc.) for thirty years -- that when I retired I would attend the Maine Photography Workshop in Rockport, Maine. Photography has become an important creative outlet for me. I took my first class at the nationally-renowned Maine Media (new name, now a college) in 2011 and loved it! Professional photographers and college professors teach informative week-long workshops on many different aspects of the art. Im looking forward to my second workshop in a few weeks. For me summer is not summer unless I spend some time in Maine.
