So its done, after almost 11 years serving the discharge was submitted today. If all goes to plan and is approved I will take 3 months long service leave from Jan and then be out in early April. My career manager / killer made it very clear that I had to move to Sydney or else be posted anywhere, family needs did not apply. But no regrets, I have enjoyed it all and walk away very proud of my time serving this great country. I have met many great people over the journey and will endeavor to personally contact as many of you as I can before the end of the year. Looking forward to a few months off work spending time watching our little girl grow and maybe taking a few road trips around the country.
