So....just a little curious. Not sure what was going on earlier, but I did read quite a few comments that would cause me to fear disclosing that I am vegetarian and not vegan. I feel like what you choose to do is a very personal decision, much like spiritual beliefs for example. Everyone is on their own journey and at their own pace. I would love to be vegan, but I simply cant afford it. Half the time we have to buy cheap boxed food. Produce is expensive. So are meat replacements. Not to mention I dont always have the time to cook intricate meals or am not feeling up to cooking due to other issues. I guess I just hoped this could be a place I could feel safe from feeling shamed like I am by people who do eat meat. Saying vegetarians are just as bad as omnivores is hurtful. I understand we arent as convicted as you. I understand it does not matter to you if our eggs are cage free. I fully support your morals and decisions to be vegan. Please remember we dont all have the resources. Indy is fortunate to have several whole food type stores. We have absolutely nothing like that where I live. I guess I am just saying, why cant we respect the choices of others and support them on their journey? Again, I really dont know all that was going on, but the comments I did read were not very respectful of each others individual journey.
