So just got off the phone with an elderly client who recently had a stroke and who is living in a Mobile home in a park that is financed by Greentree Financial. We conferenced in when a representative from Greentree who has been calling and threatening my client telling her that she must get out of the home today or the police will show up to kick her out, all of this when they have not even foreclosed yet. Literally on the phone the Greentree rep was calling her a loser and someone who doesnt make her payments and she doesnt deserve to own this home.... she then proceeded to tell me that she can tell this client anything she wants... she is behind in payments and must get out. I politely tried to explain to her that in California home owners have rights and that they must foreclose if they want her to get out of the home that they cannot simply threaten her and force her to leave when she still owns the home. She was soooo rude and obnoxious and my poor client is just beside herself due to the threats she has received from Greentree. Its Crazy. If you or someone you know is having anything like this happening, let me know. You have rights.
