So last night I stopped by a bar in downtown Makati with the hopes of getting some bbq wings and maybe a beer. It was dark inside and among the rowdy crowd of party goers were some local soldiers, off duty cops, and even a couple of US soldiers. It was fine until the band started playing the exact music from the star wars canteen scene, at which point I exited, certain that a laser pistol or light saber fight would ensue.
