So lately Ive had a lot of friends on this who are involved in activism, complain about how Irish people are lazy armchair activists who only complain from home and wont bother going any further than that. I can understand the anger because a lot of them have been involved in activism for a long enough time and theyre getting fed up with the lack of support. But in my opinion if you want people to come out and protest , putting them down and calling them names isnt going to open someones eyes and encourage them to do something. Itll do the total opposite and no one at all will want to do anything because of the abuse. To those fed up with the lack of support, please keep doing what youre doing, never stop fighting for what you believe in. I reckon if the government make one more wrong move, it will open the peoples eyes and theyll need leaders like yourselves to show them the way to freedom. They just need to know youre still there.
