So let me get this straight: I just heard Texas governor Rick Perry say, about sending 1000 National Guard troops to the border, I will not stand idly by, while our citizens are under assault, and little children from Central America are detained in squalor. We are too good a country for that to happen. Will turning this refugee children back make their situation any better? The words under assault mean he views this poor kids as an invading army? As a parent myself, I cant imagine how horrible conditions must be to send ones young children on a 1500 mile dangerous journey hoping to get them away from the situation they are exposed to! WTF! Where your compassion Republicans?!
