So like Oprah has always encouraged us to do I have faced some truths and had an aha moment. Most of you know I am been dealing with various illnesses over the least few years. And the truth is I will never be 100 percent again. The truth I will be doing great if I am at 70 percent. For about the last two years I have used my not feeling well as an excuse to stay locked up in my room. Well that is about to end. The truth is I will never feel great again, and I also have to face the fact that I am unable to work. But that doesnt mean my life is over, and it doesnt mean I cannot find fulfillment in my life. Time to start making lemonade with those lemons that life has thrown at me. A couple of friends of mine and I have decided it is time to have the occasional girls night out so dont be surprised McComb folks if you start seeing me out and about. One of the things I miss most about work is socializing with my girls. Well if I can do it in Covington I can do it here. Nothing too crazy. Just a little dinner, some harmless gossip and more than likely a little boy talk. And of course maybe a cocktail or two for those who indulge. So when we do actually start having our nights out I will let you know where we will be and all are free to join in on the festivities. I have now reached the conclusion I am 52, and I am not dead.
