So many emotions and feelings Ive experienced tonight, its too much to describe. Happiness, fear, excitement, nervousness, and pride. It goes on. I walked on to that field feeling the same I did my freshman year; scared. Yet, I left it with the same feeling I did afterwards too; amazing. No feeling will ever compare to the one Ive felt these past four years as a member of the Three Rivers High School Wildcat Marching Band. Its been a ride, guys. I have to thank everyone thats been apart of it all along the way, and all of those that supported me and helped me get to where I am now. Ive truly become a better person through being apart of this group, and have grown tremendously as a musician as well. My only hope is that the kids in the band now will carry on the message of what I told them tonight, and thats to always play from the heart. If you can do that all the time, nothing will stop you. Never let any of the negatives get in the way of the positives, and always have something to be proud of at the end of the day. Band; you guys are my family. Theres nobody else like you in the world, and youll all carry a special place in my heart wherever I may travel in this world. Becoming apart of this group was the best thing that has ever happened to me. Even though it may feel like the end of one stage, I cant help but feel like its merely opening to door to another one. More opportunities and chances to continue doing what I love. This isnt the end, for its merely the beginning of whats to come. Go band.
