So many moments of our lives brought back in an instance with a song. I think of a time in the army,while I was stationed in California. We were on a special assignment from Ft.Hood Texas. One bar,poolhall,gym,and free movies. An Officer and a Gentleman had a scene towards the end with this song playing in the background while the two lovers were saying goodbye forever.I had left the movie,and then in my real life had met a girl,while in the one bar on post. I still have the paper she handed me that night,with her number on it. We had our very short fling,for I went back to Texas,and soon after,headed back to my hometown in Indiana. I guess Im saying how one song can tie so much of moments of a life together.
