So many of these seem like common sense - own your mistakes, look forward not back, dont pick fights. So why is is that we have to write articles like this? I think its because we havent taught basics, like getting along to people. My guess is that as a leader, you spend more time sorting our personality conflicts and inappropriate behavior of peers more often than you deal with the real work you are supposed to be doing. As much as it might seem counter-intuitive, I believe we need to teach the basics of getting along in the work place rather than just being exasperated that people cant seem to get along.
