So many of you asked me how do you drive all the way by yourself to Alabama with a newborn? I just laugh because its not the newborn or the 1 year old or even really the 3 year old that makes driving difficult (or life in general). Give me a newborn any day. My struggle as a parent is my older kids. They fight all the time and can be just downright mean. I sometimes kid that my 2 oldest would be the perfect only children. They are awesome one on one but can not always function together. I have been praying about this a lot as we start a new school year. Before I read this article I had planned to emphasis the character of God and being a servant as our bible theme for schoo this year. I want me kids to see that they can choose to be kind becuase they are created in the image of God. And He is kind! Also when they serve others like their siblings, they are ultimately serving God. This article is an excellent and hits on both of the themes for our year!!!
