So many times in my life, when the challenges of life threaten to engulf me, i would wish to throw in the trowel---i mean to just give up everything. But deep inside me, when i remember the promises of God for me, i will find courage to regain strenght n hope to continue d jorney. Then i would remember the great men of God in d Bible who did exploits n wonders and yet, at a time in their lives,they lost hope. Considering Elijah, the man who called down fire from heaven, he shut the sky and it obeyed him. At a time in His life, Elijah cried to God to take his life simply because the king was after his life. What of Moses, the man who parted d red sea and prayed down manner from heaven. He was d one God handed over the ten commandment to. And yet, because of constant criticism and complains from d isrealites, he told God he was fed up with being their leader. What of Jesus Christ our Lord, born of a virgin, turned water into wine, healed d sick, walked on d sea, commanded demons etc..at a time in His life, when his death drew closer, he said, "father if it is possible, let this cup pass over me" The Bible says that his sweat turn to drop of blood. If these geat men of God could feel like this, then who are my oh God! All i am praying for is your mercy. strenghten me n let me be on my feet again, because i can do nothing without you.
