Dmitry (Musta Props music video) (2 excerpt) Musta Props was a musical/performative project created by Estanis Comella and myself. After having been colleages in an active community around experimental and electronic music in Bilbao, we decided to join and create a project more related to pop logic. Musically it contained elements from punk, hip-hop, synth-pop and noise, whereas its lyrics and idiosyncrasy were situated between Genet’s characters type and the south european ghetto culture. Dmtry is a tune relating the wonders of dating a russian queer thug. It was our first single and I directed its music video, aiming to create a simple, inmediate and efective introduction to the idiosincracy and sound of the band, playing with the re-appropiation of certain mainstream archetypes.
