So many updates: First off Hannah and I arrived home tonight fine but she was a bit shook up. Coming over steam valley mountain was a blizzard around us. Knowing there was a curve at the bottom near the English center exit plus a bridge we were going slow enough to not need brakes. Sadly others passing us did not think about that and hit the curve/bridge and 2 spun out and into the guide rails. A third hit a car and then into the rails. My car being a charger SUX on snow. I was able to slow and go around each vehicle and miss the front one that landed right center of the roadway. I pulled right over and far ahead. Called 911 and waited. One other guy in a pickup truck stopped but ALL other traffic barely missed the disabled wrecked darkened car and kept right on going. I got out to see that everyone was ok but I felt that car was going to be hit by another vehicle. As I was heading Back to my car a fourth car came thru with a line of 3. She was unable to slow down and hit the disabled, wrecked car. At this point we had BOTH lanes blocked by wrecked cars. A semi truck was safely able to come to a stop bring ALL traffic to a stop. Whew I thought. Everyones safe til fire and police arrive. Nope. 2 good guys thought better and pushed the fourth vehicle out of the way of the fast lane opening up traffic (and a huge risk for further accidents) so now we have 4 disabled/wrecked cars all in the slow lane at the bottom of a big downhill grade, snow covered and an icy bridge to stop on. By the way. Thank you to the person in the red pickup truck with yellow emergency light bar on top. Thought YOU might be help arriving but even you didnt stop. Ps; The only real injury came to a passenger (of one of the first 3 cars) who was pushed over the guard rail into the brush by a Good Samaritan, who dove there himself , when the 4th car came along hitting the car In the road. Drive safe people.
