So many wonderful things have happened to me in 2014: 1. I have found many new and awe inspiring friendships that I hope last for many years to come. 2. I have gotten closer to friends that mean the world to me. Id slay dragons for them and donate kidneys if the needed one. I am glad we can debate like Europeans and yet still have like Americans. 3. I have been employed with the same company for over 2 years now, the longest paid job Ive had since leaving college. 4. I have written and finished 2 books...one is already in the publishers hands..the other I am finishing personal edits before sending away as well. The third one-women of Drummer Magazine has about 6 chapters to go. :) 5. I moved from Seattle whom without Hobbit Joost and Wendell Joost I would never have rekindled my love of service, my gift of artistry and good ole companionship of Leather. 6. I have fallen in love with the word sisterhood again since my times with SAI Music Fraternity. I thank Tris Esclave, Mindy McConnell, Danelle King, Kaitlin Jeter, Doc Feigelstein, Paula Smith, Leslie J. Anderson, Msjeep , Elizabeth SouthwestMs, Tabitha Arie Fischer, MsKitty Aka-Elizabeth, Sarah Sloane, Natalie Green, Sarha DoAll LaChores Shaubach among others..You all rock my socks.Keep being super heroes and game changers! 7. Ft Lauderdale is home. Thanks to my FtL Family who keep it real, rambunctious and always welcoming. 8. As of Jan 8 2015, Ill be 30 days sober. An amazing life change that I will never regret. It will be the longest period of time that Ive not had a drink since the age of 17. Boom Baby! I may have much more anxiety and shyness in public but I still have my sense of humor and snark. Bye Felicia! Hello riding crop and super awesome hugs! 9. I turned 30. I didnt think with all the depression and past baggage I used to have, that I would make it. I turned 30 yall! I am THIRTY! 10. I am so glad I am communicating more with my blood family. As we all grow and get healthier there are less tears and much more laughter and joy. 11. I made plans. I have fantastic plans in the future that involve helping others as well as keeping myself healthy and happy. I may not know what I want to be when I grow up yet, but I have an amazing family and super freaky and ambitious friends to help. 2015 is going to be super badass. I can feel it. xoxxoxxo
