So much BS in one short little video. First Echols says he wont point the finger at anyone, then he goes into great detail about all the evidence he has against the step parent of a victim. Common sense here people. If any real evidence existed against Hobbs you can be sure the WM3 would have had it in court by now. There is no DNA that links Hobbs. There is a hair that is similar to Hobbs and millions of other people. It proves nothing and is completely useless as evidence. The witnesses who placed Hobbs with the victims waited nearly 20 years to mention this juicy tidbit, and only did so when movie producers came to West Memphis paying people for interviews and information. Finally, Echols and his attorney know full well the state of Arkansas cannot and will not initiate an investigation into a case where the perpetrators have been convicted AND pled guilty. The WM3 raised what has been estimated to be upwards of $20 million over the years to re-investigate the case and found NOTHING to exonerate themselves. Because they ASKED the State if they could plead guilty in exchange for time served, the burden is now on them to prove they are innocent. Theyve been free for more than three years now. The prosecutor has said his door is open to any new evidence they bring. Yet the WM3 do nothing except point fingers at others and line their own pockets. Sadly, most supporters dont understand even these most basic facts of this case. So. Frustrating.
