So much is wrong with this opinion that it is difficult deciding - TopicsExpress

So much is wrong with this opinion that it is difficult deciding where to start. Read the column directly to the right (in the paper) about the USSR (union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics). Did you know that NAZI stands for National SOCIALIST Democratic Workers Party? And look what wonderful things were done in China when it banned Capitalism in favor of complete Communism (The child of Socialism). Oh yeah, Socialism is just “common folks get(ting) together”. And the USSR was just about agrarian reform. Then flip to page 5. Apparently the government gave out e mail addresses gathered under Obamacare. Remember when Target (a corporation) was hacked. Their sales plummeted and their CIO was fired. Will anyone in government be fired because of their latest blunder or because of the entire Obamacare debacle? At least there is some accountability in those dreaded corporations and accountability is absolutely necessary for society to prosper. In my opinion piece, I commented about letting others define the issues. We must take control and define issues ourselves since the government and liberals use spin to define things to their own purposes. This opinion demonstrates that perfectly. “Fragmentation” is certainly an Orwellian way of describing freedom. What Tea Party meeting did you attend? The central issue I keep hearing from the Tea Party is that we want our Constitution back, as written not as Obama defines it. Does Mr. Jackson describe the Constitutional Separation of Powers as some dreaded “fragmentation”? Jackson derisively says, “When the big boys (corporations presumably) get together it is called progress”. But it’s liberals that fashion themselves as “Progressives” which is why I now refer to them as “Regressives”, since the results of their programs are certainly regressive and not progressive. He is right about one thing, there is danger in having large organizations with unchecked power and influence. But, that dangerous organization is the government. We need other large powerful organizations, such as corporations and unions, to counteract the government. The danger is when these other organizations get in league with the government. Corporations are much more likely to spread their political donations to both parties (but yes, they are heavier to the Republican Party). Unions are almost exclusively contributors to the Democratic Party, which explains why the education lobby dominates NY State government. 12 of the top 20 contributors to federal campaigns since the 1980’s are unions and almost exclusively to Democrats. (And I have facts to back up those statements.) But as I said, there is so much wrong with this opinion piece, I could go on indefinitely. It is pure Orwellian opinion which regurgitates the far left’s talking points.
