So much thing happened over the weekend and trying to put things into perspective. It has been 21yrs that you passed away but I still remember it like it was yesterday. I remember the neighbour telling me to come see you right away, but I was too stubborn and decided to keep playing with my friends instead. It was too late when I came and see you and for that, I do blame myself. I remember my brother holding your hand while you lay there cold and pale. Its an image that I will never forget. All these years, I still feel guilty for not being on your side while you were sick. Relatives kept telling me that you would ask for me everyday and I just ignored you. Though we didnt spend a lot of time together, I still remember the moments we shared at our old hut house, that I always visit whenever I get back home and when you will buy me new flipflops or pants. I do miss you a lot and I always think about how our lives would have been different if you were here with us! RIP BENJAMIN MESINA
