So much uncertainty in our world today, we need to know who we can trust and who knows the Lord. We need a sure and certain relationship with the Lord Jesus, not just a casual Sunday visit relationship. Friendship and family who believe are areas of support as our world continues to enter into so many question marks. We need to get comfortable praying regularly with our family and friends who are like minded. So many need the Lord, so many things pulling on people to survive in a world that is so competitive. I feel for people who are working so hard and know God but are so busy they are so tired they have little time to give to their spiritual growth. We who realize the risk of leaving God out of our life need to pray for them, and continue to pray. As things become more and more complex in our world, our relationship with the Lord will bring a steady peace. I call people to prayer and if you do not know how to pray, the Bible is full of prayers. Half of Ephesians is a prayer, part of Colossians is a prayer. Jesus prayed a whole chapter for His disciples and then for all believers in John 17. Psalm is full many prayers. The Lords Prayer in Luke 11, we can pray Gods word when we do not know what to pray. We can call a friends who knows Gods word and ask them to pray for us. Praying is talking to God just like a friend, but when the attacks in life rage, we need the insight and power behind GOD Words. In Luke 4, when Jesus was answering Satan by saying it is written, Man shall not live by bread alone but by every word of God.
