So, my bloodwork my rheumatologist did last week came back showing markers for disease activity. What does that mean? It means that the undifferentiated connective tissue disease that has been playing around in my body has decided to rear its ugly head. I have been so tired and feeling like crap lately but I thought it was because I have been so busy. I have also had a nasty rash that comes and goes on my neck that my dr believes is disease related. I started a low dose of medication that will make me super sensitive to the sun, so no more real tans for me. I felt real sorry for myself on Monday and most of Tuesday but am in acceptance mode at the moment. My rheumatologist office went above and beyond to help me out and make me feel cared for this past week. The nurse even gave me her email address so I can contact her if I need to on my next trip to India. I am so very grateful for awesome health care, and an unbelievably supportive husband and family. I may not beat this disease but I am going to FIGHT IT LIKE A SEARLS.
