So my oldest triplet is running for Student Council Secretary. She picked out a plaid shirt with a tie to wear tomorrow for her speech. She asked me to iron it, and wants it stiff like Daddys work shirts. I doubt it will come out like the dry cleaners but I will try. Her speech is cute. She says she has neat hand writing, she can write fast, she can type fast, that she is open to ideas, threw out an idea for getting more four square balls and basketballs, so there is not a line during recess. She gave some ideas of how to get these balls, but said she WONT PROMISE but will try 110%(supposedly last year the one Student Council President promised them that they would have a contest and the winner would get pop corn, ice cream, candy and a movie, which of course never happened. My three gullible ones voted for her) she said she doesnt want to promise something and not be able to make the promise come true. She goes on and on that she wants to work hard for the school and ends it by saying I maybe small, but I am BIG at working hard. Everyone always says my three are small cuz they were so premature. And there are six kids in her class running and she has to win that, then go up against the other classrooms. So I told her it is going to be hard, cuz so many others are running, but I did say, if you make it to the finals, at least your sisters will vote for you. And they said, No Mommy, these are the rules( and they are ruler followers, not so much at home) you cannot vote for your friend or even your brother or sister( granted, there are only two sets or twins, and two sets of triplets--ours is one), you have to vote for whose speech is better. So Emily tells me, Mommy if I dont vote for Allison because her speech is not that good, I will tell her I cant tell you, remember it is supposed to be a secret. Such Rule followers, now if they would hang on MY every word at home, I would be laying on my couch, eating bon-bons and watching TV every day.
