So, my parents were at LAX this morning. They were planning on staying until the last flight out, but my mom felt tired and cut the trip short, and they ended up taking an early flight back home. This resulted in my parents being out of the airport exactly one hour before the shooter went in and killed a TSA officer and wounded 7 others. If they stayed later, they couldve been stuck in LA for hours/overnight, or been caught in the middle of that shooting. I normally dont post things like this, but I feel it is appropriate to say now that I am extremely thankful for my parents safety, and I hope everyone comes out of this okay. I am also very sorry for the family of the TSA officer that was killed. This year for Thanksgiving I am going to be very thankful for my family.
