So…. my sons teacher sent an email home today stating that they took a test on probability and that if they students made below an 80, she was giving them the opportunity to correct the missed ones for half credit. She said to encourage our kids to do this as it is their last effort to bring grades up before report cards come out (after spring break). So.. I anticipated that perhaps a lot of the kids had problems and made below an 80. When Noah got off the bus, I asked how he did on his math test. I made an 82. ME: Oh wow! So, you cant correct for half- credit, but it sounds like there is something we need to go over or work on. NOAH: Well….. I got 10 points off for not putting my name on the paper. ME: So…. let me get this straight… you could have made a NINETY-TWO if you had just put your name on the paper? NOAH: Yeah. **I thump him on the back of the head Some things you cant fix.
