So next week is our annual High Risk Child (HRC) Camp. This camp is yet another unique feature of Westview Clinic: it involves taking 50 children between 15 to 18 who come from circumstances where substance abuse is prevalent on a week long camp. The aim is to provide an environment where they are taught coping skills to deal with their home situation, where they feel safe and they are allowed to just be kids. We have amazing people who have been sponsoring the camp for many years, so the children dont pay anything. We wish out therapist and nursing staff all the best for next week.
