So no op for Anna today after all after spending most of the day on the ward as nil - by - mouth. They have let her come home though, with her leg strapped up, and she has to go back at 0730 to wait all over again. Apparantly its more of a shatter than a break so an op was the only option. After the op she will have a brace on the leg and she should allow 6 weeks before being able to put full weight on it. So I am now promoted to housekeeper, childminder, chef, carer and christmas event organiser.... Its going to be a long 6 weeks! Just sorting out the school run, nursery and all the various after school clubs is a full time job on its own. Better get my Mary poppins hat on!
