So not much improvement on my brother... he had surgery this morning to clean the wounds out, they are not fixing any of the breaks until his wounds are completely clean. He broke many bones, left femur, left and right lower legs, left knee is shredded, right knee has a tendon rupture, left ankle shattered, and sternum broken. My mother and step dad are going to demand to have an MRI done since his doctors have yet to order one. He has not woken up yet and he still needs help breathing. The condition of his brain is basically unknown until they do an MRI. While I was with him yesterday he was moving his hands and lifting up his arms a lot... he was also moving his right leg quite a bit and was making facial expressions. These are all good signs but he is not where the doctors want him to be. Im hoping the MRI scan is done today and we will have the results sometime tomorrow. Thank you to those who have come by the house to see how we are and dropped things off to take to his room. This all honestly fills our hearts with happiness to know DJ has so much support and love on his side!
