So, obviously, lately, there have been many posts about police brutality. It really concerns me that many people think they are ENTITLED to not to have to obey simple laws, that infact, were probably not made by the acting officer/trooper. It concerns me that there are DEMANDS that justice be served for these criminals that have put many lives in danger, that these thugs and their supporters think they were the ones wronged. Um, NO! How about the law abiding citizens? What about us? Do we not deserve to have the security of law enforcement on the streets? How about the law enforcement officers? Not only are the LEOs looking out for their lives, they are protecting the people that are out there gawking at the scene of a crime. Its always a choice these people make, when they decide to run, fight or charge a trooper/officer, draw a gun on them, etc. It is a CHOICE! Nobody decided to do that, except THEM! They are not above the law! It amazes me with the reaction of some people when an unfortunate event happens with a law enforcement officer. But, put yourself in their shoes. If it came down to it, which end of the gun would you want to be on? I know what I would choose! I personally know troopers and other law enforcement officers. They sometimes have to make life changing decisions in a split second! At the end of the day, I pray it is them that come home. I pray for their safety, constantly. I pray that every time THEY put their lives in danger, that in those few seconds they are given, they are guided to protect US and OUR families and friends. If you have a problem with this so called police brutality, start by looking at the whole picture and what really happened. Often times, the media just gives us information that they want us to know. Think about how this not only affects the criminal, but the family, friends and the officer/trooper involved. They have to live with it the rest of their lives, the things they see, what they hear and God forbid, if a shooting occurs. It is so easy to place blame on other people, when it wasnt them that CAUSED it in the first place. So, to all my trooper and other law enforcement friends, THANK YOU! Thank you for what you do on a daily basis! Thank you for protecting me! Thank you for putting up with and listening to all this nonsense talk and slander from individuals that cant get enough information to make an informed decision on what they say! Thank you, from the bottom of my heart! (To all the haters out there, I am not sorry for my feelings on this subject. You can post negative comments, but I will delete them, as I dont care to hear your pathetic excuses or opinions. I also will pray for you that you will never need law enforcement assistance!) Just food for thought....follow the law and you wont have anything to worry about!
