So often we hear about poor customer service. I want to give a shout-out to Kohls for the opposite. Just before we went to Paris, David and I bought some clothing at Kohls. We also bought a new (fairly expensive) candle for our room. The cashier very carefully wrapped it so it wouldnt break but then, after ringing up everything else, forgot to put it in our bag. We were so busy getting ready for our trip that I didnt get a chance to call about it. And then I totally forgot until today when going through some paperwork on my desk and finding the receipt. I fully expected a hassle, in part because Id waited so long to report it. Not at all. The representative I spoke with was very courteous, took just a minute to ask a supervisor and then came back on the line to take the info from my receipt. They will credit my account. All told, the encounter took less than 5 minutes and not an ounce of aggravation. Good job, Kohls!
