In Heaven Today there is purpose (part 2), and therefore there are things to do. I believe the primary thing we will do in Heaven is develop relationships. First and foremost, we will develop our relationship with the Trinity. I believe we will do that by worshipping the Father, spending time with the Son, and learning from the Holy Spirit. We will also reconnect with family and friends, and get to know the Biblical heroes of our faith, and then meet the countless other believers over eternity. The next thing we will do is Learn. Ephesians 3:18-19 says, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. It will take an eternity to even begin to know the full depth of who God is and His character. And, in Heaven we will finally be where we can freely learn about God without the haze and distractions of this world, Isaiah 55:9 says, For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.
