So, oil pressure gauge and line hooked up today...test fired the engine on the PRW (Performance Racing Warehouse) Low-Profile ETS (engine test stand). Still no radiator hoses fitted yet but engine runs good and the many-miled 289 still shows 50 psi at idle. This engine is being replaced by a mild-build 351 but its a good starting point for anyone looking for a 1965 289-ci to rebuild or use in the short term.
