So one year ago today I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. As many of you know Ive been out to Little Rock, Arkansas, to the myeloma institute 5 times over the past 12 months. They tried a miracle drug over the summer months+ but it didnt help. I went back last week for some new baseline testing and unfortunately received news that wasnt the greatest.... Long story short, my cancer has spread and I have bone lesions as well. Sooooo... After the holidays, I am heading out to Arkansas to begin high dose chemo and I will begin the process for stem cell collection. Have to be away for @ 4 weeks then home for 4 weeks then back again for @ 4 weeks for the transplant... Im posting this info as Im being asked how things are going... Please keep sending positive thoughts, support, prayers, etc.... We really appreciate it.
