We are seeking to rally community support for a new and exciting endeavor! Pictured on this page is a beautifully restored Victorian Home located a block away from Presidents Circle at the University of Utah. The goal is to turn this into an Independent University of Utah LDS Female Student Housing. But we need your help! Starting up a new female student housing unit is expensive! If we can raise a substantial amount of fundraising over the next few days, we can make this happen! Many female students are looking to live in a clean and beautiful environment with a group of girls who support their beliefs and standards. Without the raucous drinking and party lifestyle of some sororities, we seek to establish a similar social experience of creating lasting sisterhoods, participating in charity work, and enjoying wholesome recreation together. House rules will include an agreement to live by LDS standards, standards of cleanliness, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and more. Tricia Foster, the live-in house mother, will lead the girls in house prayers, house council, activities, and will provide a loving source of support and care. A former student of BYU and BYU-Idaho, Tricia is a 27 year-old returned missionary seeking to use her motherly gifts to bless the lives of fellow sisters. Postings will soon become available for female students to apply to live in the home. However, this is only possible through the financial assistance of those who support our goals. The house has 4 bedrooms, an office, 2 and 3/4 baths, kitchen, laundry, well-kept grounds, etc.
