So only my close friends and family know that Ive been deeply considering SDSUs ROTC program. Originally, I didnt even want to look into the Army because honestly, I didnt feel strong enough for that. I paid more attention to Air Force and Navy. But yesterday, I ended up meeting with an Army recruiter by chance while I was searching for the Navy recruiter. At the end of our meeting, he showed me this video that really opened my eyes to the Army ROTC program that SDSU provides. Although I havent made any decisions yet, it was cool to see exactly what I would be getting myself involved in, and it was also inspiring to see a female Journalism major (my major as well) talk about her experience in the program. It made me think That could be me...if she could do it, maybe I can too. Im glad that I met with an Army recruiter yesterday even if it was by complete accident.
