So people of Greenough and Walkaway....... Ive been watching some wonderful giving this morning on A Great page managed by a lovley Local Kimberly Shelt, and it restores my faith that maybe the human race is not failing us and that old ways of Love thy neighbour can be restored!....So Ive been thinking of this for a while and I wondered how many people would be interested in joining/making a freindly community group of volenteer helpers....I know time is prescious but every now and then we all need a little help or a big help but have nobody to ask or turn to....maybe as simple as mowing a lawn or weeding a garden, painting a room to bigger jobs like Fixing a roof or Building a fence....be it because we are struggling for money or our health wont allow us or perhaps we are finding it hard to cope with all that life has thrown on our plate....People need people and once whole communitys got together and raised barns and built houses!!.....the women provided the food while the men provided the muscle!! (i realize ladys that is a lot diff now....;) )....but still a community came together whith honesty to help each other and there was a sense of honour and acheivment in that...no expectant return....it was a gift of freindship.....so I ask of you....Who would like such a group....who would like to be part of such a thing.....Is it worthwhile or am i dreaming here???? Opinions or volenteers please!.....enough positive outcome and it could be a real possibility :) There is a saying us CWA ladys go by....give and forget the Gift....
