So sad. Our dear drop-off Beyoncé was hit tonight. When she was left here several years ago, she was an emaciated stray; we had her treated and loved her immensely. What a smart animal she was. Tonight, though, she had been inside and asked to go out; next, she simply darted into the path of a car. Our sweet, sweet neighbors had to come get us; they recently lost a beloved pet and know all too well the sense of loss. Although this segment of our neighborhood is pretty down right now, we cannot blame the driver; this was not his fault by any means. Just missing our funny and lovable hound, who was so pitiful when we got her that I named her Beyoncé to boost her self esteem. She gave us a lot of gratitude and good memories.
