So sad...SLAVERY... Most of us think of this in physical terms. It is how the the white man used us to build this country; fill their pockets...this is true but that is only the visible of the reality. The beatings, rapings, killings, separation of our family etv. are merely the by-products of SLAVERY. The theft of our history...name, culture, language and pitting us against ourselves...the enslavement of our mind is the reality of SLAVERY. The proof lies in the nature of who we have and what we have become. As a race we are the only people who, collectively, are as crabs in a barrel. We really dont know who we are and so we embrace anything that appeals to the emptiness in our soul. We embrace any and every holliday of any and every people. Did not we celebrate days free from the fields. Even the house slaves love the day off. As a people we arent even grafted into the fabric of society. We arent a part of the house (even though we built the foundation and the house) were merely plants in the yard.
