So sad-angry-disappointed to see this decision from the Sixth Circuit today. The dissent says it best, calling the Sutton opinion “an introductory lecture in political philosophy,” but failing, as an appellate court decision, “to grapple with the relevant constitutional issue in this appeal.” I continue to feel positive regarding inevitable victory for equality, but given the delayed post-election timing of the release, I dont know whether realistically, the Supreme Court will hear it this term or next.
