So teaching in a year two class, teacher will understand why, too hard to explain here. The lesson was time, now the lesson itself was so difficult I had issues but then I shared a story. I got given a watch to learn the time FROM MY PARENTS! In year 4 or 5 I think. I wore it to school and a teacher asked me the time cause she didnt have a watch. I replied Im still learning. At the time we did not get taught time at school. Her reply, well you shouldnt have a watch if you cant tell time. How else was I suppose to learn!! My point another thing teachers are expected to teach that maybe is a parent job??? Maybe if we got to teach what we needed to and parents taught what they needed too results would improve! Just a thought!
